Geospatial technologies in general and geographic information systems in particular offer a waste range of tools to help reaching the Health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3). Benefiting fully from these technologies require for the health sector in countries to not only have the necessary technical capacity at disposal but also all the other elements leading to the integration of geography and time in their Health Information System (HIS).

The Health GeoLab Collaborative has been established to provide the required support for such integration to take place in a cost-effective and sustainable manner across low and middle income countries in Asia the Pacific by bringing together institutions and individuals sharing the same objective and ready to engage their respective skills, experience, and resources to reach it..
